Former South Carolina lineman DJ Park dead at 29


D.J. Park, a former offensive lineman who performed at South Carolina and briefly for the Canadian Soccer League’s Toronto Argonauts, has died, Gamecocks coach Shawn Elliott introduced. He was 29.

Elliott was an offensive line coach for the Gamecocks when Park was on the crew. He not too long ago re-joined this system as a passing sport coordinator.

Park was a standout soccer participant for Dillon High School in South Carolina and was among the many high 20 offensive tackles within the nation when he joined the Gamecocks, in keeping with 247 Sports activities.

He performed for the Gamecocks from 2013 to 2017. He performed every sport within the 2016 and 2017 seasons earlier than he left the sport to pursue an expert profession.

He signed briefly with the Argonauts in 2018.
